Transformers: The Last Knight Vine Design

After we had the overall design of Cybertron in place we started working on the detailing. The architectural structures were based on artworks from Gutalin (and his are based on Giger). Here you can see closeups of the vine-like metal structures. Since they break apart in the film I thought it would be great to design also the inside, which is based on the functionality of muscles.
